Elipson has brilliantly invested in the field of amplification with the Music Center amplifier-tuner. It honors the prestigious speaker manufacturer’s demands for excellence by integrating class D amplification using ICEpower technology. Developed by Bang & Olufsen, this widely proven solution has continued to evolve over time to now offer top-notch musical performance: it has been selected by many manufacturers to equip high-end compact devices. Characterized by high efficiency and a comfortable power of 2×120 watts under 4 ohms and 2×60 watts under 8 ohms, this amplifier offers the Music Center great versatility by allowing it to be combined with speakers of all types. The Music Center also benefits from the Elipson WELL (Wireless Elipson Lossless Link) device which will allow you to stream music wirelessly from a computer (PC or Mac) using the USB dongle provided. It is possible to associate up to eight dongles with the same Music Center (dongle available separately on request, contact us)! With a range of 10 meters, great freedom is left for placement. For its part, the optional iPod/iPhone/iPad Elipson WELL iPhone dongle will allow the playback of music files or the control of playback functions from an iDevice (equipped with a 30-pin connector). The Kleer technology used for this dematerialized transmission uses 16 bit/44 kHz coding without compression, i.e. a quality equivalent to that of a CD. Accomplished and resolutely efficient, the Music Center will therefore not sacrifice signal quality for functionality: the most advanced recordings will be reproduced in all their details.

In terms of connectivity, the Music Center once again demonstrates careful design with a complete set of features. Thus, in addition to the classic speaker terminals and RCA inputs, there is an optical digital input, a USB port compatible with MP3/WMA, but also a pre-out output in the context of a combination with a power amplifier. A subwoofer output is also present. The latter has a configurable filter from 50 to 200 Hz in 5 Hz steps which will allow an optimal combination of the subwoofer with the main speakers.

Other refined technical solutions contribute to giving the Music Center an elegant contemporary design. Thus, the CD player abandons the classic pull-out drawer for a “slot in” insertion system. The touch controls allow the front to display a clean line; note that the brightness of these will automatically adapt to the intensity of the ambient lighting thanks to an integrated sensor. Finally, the FM RDS tuner will complete the choice of available sources, and as an option,one footwith integrated cable management will allow an aesthetic and safe arrangement of the Music Center in any interior.
